Polyporus (Polyporus umbellatus) is a rather rare parasitic fungus that draws its strength from tree roots. It\u2019s a traditional part of Chinese medicine for its high content of active substances. Here we offer Polyporus in the form of a mushroom powder\/biomass, when the fruiting body of the dried mushroom is ground to a very fine powder using a special shellbroken method which breaks the chitin shell of a cell and releases the active substances. This form has a more delicate effect compared with extract.<\/p>\n
